I’ve been wanting to do this for quite a while but never came to do it. From the title I guess you have an idea what I’m talking about… Time for a haircut! I usually go to the hairdresser once a year either during Christmas or Chinese New Year. For those in Malaysia, it’s I-B Hair Saloon in Kepong Metro Prima (little publicity for them).
Thanks to them I’m proud of this nest of hair that I have. Ok, I admit that I look messy sometimes (Ok, most of the time) and it’s my fault for not taking enough care for it. But honestly, I dreamed of having straight hair when I was young and I used to have trouble taming it because it just won’t obey no matter how many times I combed or brushed. And so, I really hated going to the hairdresser, because the whole ordeal was focused solely on that bunch of dark brown mess. Anyway, it was until when I was in Form 6 that I got my family friend to give my hair a try. And voilà! It was like magic.
I think I got off track there… But anyway, here’s one of my firsts…
I should have taken some hair cut lessons before coming here. Could even turn it to a service in the residence 😉
The most difficult part was to untangle my hair with a comb (can you believe that?!) and also trying to section them in straight lines while half-blind. The fact that my left eye is blinder than my right betrayed me during the entire episode.
I had to separate my hair into sections and tie them separately so that I could cut or trim them at the right length… It was till when I was halfway through that it occurred to me to take this picture.
There goes a beloved bunch of my cut mane =)
